The Project Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manages product design and development projects from concept through production.
  • Interacts with the customer and communicates information as necessary to regularly prepares documentation to keep management informed of project status.
  • Interprets customer concerns, requirements and directs the design appropriately.
  • Proposes and develops process improvements.
  • Provides engineering support to the design team.
  • Management of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Develop tooling or process improvements with the design team.
  • Acts as subject matter expert in at least one production line.
  • Verifies that product designs meet the customer's requirements through calculations and analysis.
