Summary:
An experienced land surveying and mapping company is looking for an Instrument Technician in Davie, FL. The ideal candidate would be someone with prior experience as an Instrument Person who is looking to grow their skillset with the company. The position would primarily be responsible for assisting in the collection of field data using a variety of surveying instruments.
Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate surveying equipment, including GPS stations.
* Support the Crew Chief in performing surveys construction, topographic, and line projects, with occasional involvement in aviation surveys.
* Gather and accurately document field data.
* Use GPS devices, leveling instruments, and scanners for survey tasks.
* Travel across Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties for fieldwork and survey assignments.
Requirements:
* 1+ years of land surveying instrument experience.
* Must have valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.
* Must be proficient with electronic survey equipment.
* Previous experience with Topcon instruments.
