Nestle USA in Springville, UT is Seeking motivated Industrial Electrical Mechanics to join our team. Responsible for troubleshooting plant power distribution, motor control, and PLC systems.

What you’ll accomplish:
  • Uses the following test equipment: e.g. megger, DMM, oscilloscope, amprobe, transistor tester, etc. Conducts instrument calibration.
  • Maintains an understanding of engineering drawings. Documents and updates prints.
  • Works with digital and analog electronics, logic circuits, triac power controls, etc.
  • Maintains accurate, precise records where required. This to include equipment logs, communication logs, P.M. sheets, job orders, etc.
  • Models the Springville Compass in all work‑related activities.
  • Participate in the Springville upskilling program.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Two-year degree or equivalent in Electrical Automation or Electrical Technology
  • 6 Months of industrial electrical experience within the past 12 months, with 2+ years of industrial electrical experience preferred
  • Must be willing to work Saturdays, Sundays, and shutdown, plus any shift as needed.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Must be able to use required electrical test equipment and hand tools.
  • Must understand the basic operation of electrical equipment.
  • Must troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment.
  • Must have knowledge of basic computer programming, including PLC’s and operator (interface, windows, dos).
Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic and mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic knowledge of circuit boards, schematics, assembly, vision systems and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of temperature controls.
  • An attitude that is capable of working as a team with minimum supervision.
  • Able to complete assigned PM’s correctly and on a timely basis.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC is preferred.
  • Experience in a heavily automated environment is preferred.

Pay:$33.00 per hour
