Job Responsibilities:
 
  • Teach/tutor in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
  • Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
  • Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
  • Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment 
  • Support various administrative tasks and projects around the center
  • Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
Required Qualifications:
 
  • Passion for and great working with kids - fun, patience, encouragement, empathy
  • Team player
  • Driven & motivated; desire to lean in and grow within the organization; interest in taking on new projects; seeking promotion to Lead Instructor, Assistant Center Director, and beyond
  • Eagerness to learn and be trained
  • Positive attitude; we are looking for outgoing "people people" who value positivity and fun!
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfort speaking with students and parents
  • Desire and ability to teach
  • Hours availability 
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience
  • Passion for math
  • Strong math competency through at least Algebra I
