We are seeking a full-time Instructor to lead and contribute to laboratory research activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving research projects, managing personnel, and securing funding to sustain ongoing work.
Research Responsibilities:
  • Develop original research hypotheses and design rigorous experiments.
  • Execute experiments and analyze complex data sets.
  • Present research findings at seminars, conferences, and meetings.
  • Contribute to the preparation and publication of scientific manuscripts.
Laboratory Management:
  • Supervise and mentor laboratory personnel, including technicians and trainees.
  • Promote a safe, efficient, and collaborative laboratory environment in line with best practices.
  • Oversee daily lab operations to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Grant Writing and Funding:
  • Prepare and submit grant proposals to secure funding for ongoing and future research projects.
  • Manage grant budgets and reporting as needed to support research activities.

Required Qualifications
  1. Doctor of Philosophy/Biochemistry
  2. Proven track record of research and publication in relevant fields.
  3. Excellent communication skills and exceptional supervisory bills
  4. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
