Key duties and responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer include:

Use emerging technologies to reengineer the development.

Package software into desktop applications using InstallShield and other deployment technologies.

Plan and implement unit tests for installer components.

Perform root cause analysis on defects and other issues.

Perform software testing using specified procedures and tools.

Participate in and provide input to design, release and sprint planning activities.

Write supporting documentation including test plans, technical specifications, feature descriptions, class/object descriptions, and in-code
