Northrop Grumman's Space Sector invites you to bring your pioneering spirit to our collaborative teams. As a Electronic Systems Technician - Level 3 located in Promontory, UT, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. As an electronic systems technician, you will be responsible for responding to corrective maintenance work orders and supporting the Promontory facility plant wide.

You will be working on a variety of electronic and electrical equipment, from handheld electronic devices to large-scale automated processes and CNC equipment, often in high-stress, time-critical situations. We support mix/cast buildings, lab buildings, X-ray, and machine shops. In addition to supporting production, we support plant-wide water systems, fire alarm systems, radios, and various other systems.

You will communicate directly with operations to ensure their equipment is working as required, and you will often work alongside other crafts to get repairs done in a timely manner. This position will work a 4/10 schedule, with every Friday off. In this job, you will: Respond to corrective maintenance work orders input through Maximo.

Use troubleshooting skills to fix equipment. Act with urgency and leverage other crafts and supervision when needed. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment before due dates.

Order parts and document work. Schedule: Mostly 4/10s, with occasional Friday coverage. In addition, we have a rotating graves/ days schedule where we work 7 days straight (Saturday through Friday) approximately every 8 weeks (either on graveyard 6PM -6AM or days 6AM-6PM) Other duties as assigned If this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team.

Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience. No clearance required to start Knowledge of electronics and electrical theory. Ohm's Law Basic Troubleshooting Preferred Qualifications: Applied Associate's Degree or BS degree in electronics or technology Pristine knowledge of LOTO protocols Electrical controls and process troubleshooting PLC wiring, installation, basic programming/comms, & troubleshooting VFD Set up, installation, troubleshooting Circuit board basic troubleshooting Source, simulate, measure, troubleshoot 4-20 & 0-10 signals HART Protocol via Fluke 754 and/or open-source programs via computers RTDs and TC simulation and troubleshooting 0-24VDC, 120AC, 480AC competence and troubleshooting 5S and quality management systems are a plus Fire alarm system knowledge Radio equipment competency Knowledge of HVAC, Hydraulics & pneumatics, CNC equipment, and/or X-ray equipment are a plus Curious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector.

Northrop Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $57,500.00 - $95,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results

Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
