Job description

Residential HVAC Installation Lead

We're hiring an experienced Residential HVAC Installation Lead to take charge of new construction projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants the opportunity to grow into a larger leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead residential HVAC installs on new construction homes from rough-in through final start-up.

  • Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and mini-split systems.

  • Perform ductwork, line set, drain, and ventilation installation.

  • Read and interpret blueprints to complete accurate, efficient installs.

  • Make sure all work meets code requirements, manufacturer guidelines, and company standards.

  • Work closely with builders, project managers, and inspectors to keep jobs moving smoothly.

  • Support, coach, and oversee installation helpers on site.

  • Start up and test systems to confirm proper operation and performance.

  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.

  • New construction experience preferred.

  • Prior lead or crew leadership experience preferred.

  • EPA 608 certification, or willingness to obtain it with company support.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50-75 lbs and working in attics, crawlspaces, and on rooftops.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with heat pumps and high-efficiency equipment.

  • Basic knowledge of electrical and gas piping systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to lead by example.

Experience & Requirements

  • HVAC installation experience: 3 years required.

  • EPA certification required.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
