Residential HVAC Installer

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning | Glastonbury, CT

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is building its Greater Hartford operation, and we’re looking for an experienced HVAC installer to help establish and lead our installation department.

This is an opportunity to join early, influence how the team operates, mentor developing installers, and grow into future leadership.

We’re veteran-owned and guided by craftsmanship, accountability, teamwork, integrity, and taking care of people.

What You’ll Do
  • Residential HVAC installations and replacements

  • Install furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, air handlers, controls, and related equipment

  • Complete system startup, testing, and commissioning

  • Ensure work meets code, manufacturer requirements, and company standards

  • Troubleshoot installation and performance issues

  • Maintain clean, professional job sites

  • Communicate respectfully with homeowners

  • Prevent callbacks through quality workmanship

  • Help establish and improve installation standards

What We’re Looking ForRequired
  • Active Connecticut D-2 or S-2 HVAC Journeyperson License

  • EPA Section 608 certification

  • Strong residential HVAC installation experience

  • Experience with furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, controls, and system startup

  • Strong troubleshooting ability

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

  • Experience with mentoring apprentices and developing installers
