Job Summary
As an Assistant Installer for The Tailored Closet and PremierGarage of Danbury, you will be responsible for the timely and mistake-free installation of a closet, garage, and office organization products and cabinetry for a given geographic territory. The ideal candidate has at least one year of installation experience, preferably in a related industry, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check. Candidates must be prepared to get to work with a positive attitude and must have the physical strength and stamina to perform the duties of this job. Please note this is not a contract position
Responsibilities
  • Conducts in-home installation of company products and collects payment
  • Conducts in-home installation repairs, as needed
  • Provides friendly and knowledgeable service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Solicits referrals and/or canvasses territory to obtain at least three leads per month
  • Completes and submits installation paperwork on a daily basis
  • Maintains warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Maintains assigned van, including washing, restocking supplies, etc.
  • Complies with and follows all safety regulations

Qualifications
  • Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Construction, 1 year (Preferred)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean driving record
  • General construction knowledge
  • Able to lift over 50 pounds
