Job description

Summary: Perform general locksmith duties including installation, repair and replacement of all locking devices on any Avi Property. Provides security/safety for guests, team members and property assets and assists in emergency situations. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Installs and maintains all locks and locking devices including padlocks, door passage locks, cabinet locks, electronic guest room, etc.

Maintains an adequate inventory of locks and peripheral equipment necessary for a functioning locksmith shop. Insures that the Lock Shop is maintained in a safe and clean condition. Issues Company keys only pursuant to policy/procedures and maintains written records for control.

Supplies duplicate keys to the proper departments pursuant to proper procedures. Patrol and inspect several different assigned areas for irregularities. Monitors all activities for unauthorized removal of, or damage to, company property.

Guards all transfers of moneys and tokens on the casino floor as well as the physical transportation of hopper fills, chip fills and credits. Assists guests with room keys. Responds to reports of guest or employee injury or illness.

Preserves the scene of criminal activity for investigators and outside agencies. Observes and reports incidents to the security dispatcher or supervisor and provides assistance as required in congested areas or as directed by the on-duty security supervisor. Assist with all emergency situations.

Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members. Performs other duties as assigned. .
