Job description

The Senior Network Copier Installer is responsible for the delivery, installation, configuration, and end-user training of network-connected copiers, printers, and scanners. This role oversees all aspects of installation services, including technical setup, documentation, and coordination with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and operational efficiency. This position requires weekly travel. Assignments may vary by state, depending on workload and client requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Review daily delivery schedules and confirm appointments with clients.
  • Deliver and install equipment, following established quality standards.
  • Perform network installations in accordance with company procedures and client specifications.
  • Connect devices to workstations and servers; install scanning and printer software as required.
  • Install meter collection software, where applicable.
  • Conduct functional tests to validate operation prior to leaving the client site.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues using available resources.
  • Provide end-user training on device functionality.
  • Communicate delays to the Installation Coordinator and client when necessary.
  • Accurately complete documentation, including contracts, leasing forms, and data collection via DocuSign.
  • Report installation results and client feedback to the Sales Representative.
  • Maintain and update training materials and technical documents.
  • Stay informed about supported products, software updates, and installation standards.
  • Support pre-sales demonstrations and product consultations, if requested.
  • Rebuild operating systems, update firmware, and configure print controllers as needed.
  • Occasionally provide helpdesk support.
  • Achieve a minimum of 80% billable work percentage.
  • Ensure accurate time reporting and administrative compliance.
  • Follow safety protocols during transport, equipment handling, and onsite activities.
  • Attend company meetings and department training sessions.
  • Assist with warehouse operations and equipment setup, as required.
  • Submit all post-installation paperwork, including pickup forms and toner records.
  • Attend required company and departmental meetings.
  • Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree with a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in a training role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with networking and printing in Macintosh environments is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of personal vehicle insurance, and a satisfactory driving record. DOT certification required; must comply with all relevant DOT regulations, including medical and drug screenings.
