Aaron Overhead Garage Doors is hiring an Apprentice Garage Door Installer to support our installation team in Lawrenceville. You don't need to be a master tech yet, but you do need to be dependable, coachable, and ready to work.


Aaron Overhead Garage Doors serves the Atlanta metro with professional repair, installation, sales, and maintenance for residential and commercial customers, and we've built our reputation on service, speed, and professionalism. As an Apprentice Installer, you'll work alongside experienced technicians to install and service garage doors and related components. You'll learn our process step-by-step and gain the skills to grow into a full installer role over time. This role is great for someone who has some garage door experience or a strong foundation with power tools and hands-on work (construction, HVAC install, trades, mechanical work)


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead installers with residential and light commercial garage door installations
  • Load/unload materials, prep job sites, and keep work areas clean and safe
  • Use hand and power tools to help with assembly, mounting, and hardware installation
  • Learn to identify parts and components (tracks, springs, openers, panels, hardware)
  • Support basic troubleshooting and repair tasks as skills develop
  • Follow safety procedures and company installation standards every day
  • Communicate clearly with the team and show up ready to work

Qualifications

  • 1 year of hand tools or home service experience
  • Strong candidates may come from construction, HVAC installation, mechanical work, or similar trades
  • Comfortable using power tools and working on ladders with proper safety practices
  • Reliable transportation and ability to report to Lawrenceville-area jobs
