Job Title: Electrician Apprentice
Location: Prague, OK

Position Summary

The Electrician Apprentice for Electra LLC supports licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components. This position performs general labor tasks, assists with job site preparation and cleanup, and ensures materials and tools are available to support efficient project completion. The role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist electricians with installation of wiring, conduit, lighting fixtures, panels, and other electrical components
  • Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites
  • Prepare and clean work areas before and after projects
  • Dig trenches and assist with conduit placement when required
  • Pull wire and feed cable through conduits under supervision
  • Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely
  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit as directed
  • Hold or position materials and tools during installation
  • Assist with demolition and removal of outdated electrical systems
  • Maintain organization of tools, equipment, and materials
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous construction or electrical experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

  • Basic understanding of hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Strong attention to safety procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods
