Position Summary

The HVAC Installer Apprentice is responsible for installing commercial heating and cooling systems, including ductwork, equipment, and accessories. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver clean, code-compliant installations with supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with installing HVAC systems including heat pumps, gas furnaces, air handlers, condensers, package units, VRF systems and ductless systems
  • Assist with starting up, testing, and commissioning of new systems
  • Assist with pressure testing, evacuating, and charging systems according to manufacturer specs
  • Ensure all installations meet IMC, NEC (as applicable), and OSHA safety standards
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members
  • Complete required documentation and installation checklists
  • Follow company installation standards and best practices

Minimum Qualifications

  • This position is open to entry-level candidates.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
