Job Summary
As the Apprentice Installer, you’ll be learning hands-on the ins-and-outs of installing gas, wood, and pellet stoves and fireplaces alongside one of our veteran Lead Installers. You will travel across Lane County and beyond, adding both heat and ambiance to our client’s homes.  With this hire, we are looking for our next lead installer.
Responsibilities 
  • Assist in the installation of stoves and fireplaces
  • Independently carry out tasks assigned by the Lead Installer
  • Learning proper installation practices, regulations, building codes, and industry standards
  • Collaborating with Install Teams and Lead Installers to ensure high quality installations that pass all inspections
  • Record detailed information regarding jobs and their status 
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment in working condition
  • Various warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading product
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Drivers license and good driving record
  • Proficient with measuring tools
  • Problem solving skills and ability to read and understand installation manuals and blueprints
  • Having good people skills
  • Experience with impact drivers, drills, saws, and various tooling
  • Carpentry or construction experience

This position is for those who like working with their hands and are ok with hard, physical labor. This position is not recommended for those with claustrophobia or acrophobia.
