Job description

Job Summary:

Innovative Installations is hiring full-time Commercial Kitchen Installation Technicians. This position involves hands-on work installing commercial kitchen equipment at restaurants, schools, fire stations, and other facilities across Arizona and neighboring states.
Ideal candidates will have basic construction knowledge, experience with hand tools, and the physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment. Training is provided for qualified candidates.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Unload and install commercial kitchen equipment (e.g. ovens, fryers, walk-in coolers, exhaust hoods).
  • Follow installation specifications and placement drawings.
  • Secure equipment using hand tools, fasteners, and materials.
  • Assist in building and sealing walk-in refrigeration units.
  • Maintain job site cleanliness and equipment staging.
  • Travel to job sites with the crew; overnight stays required for some jobs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and push up to 100 lbs regularly.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation to the Tempe warehouse.
  • Physically able to work on ladders, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.
  • Able to work indoors, outdoors, and in active construction sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience in construction, installation, or related trades.
  • Familiar with hand tools, power tools, and light-duty mechanical work.
  • Forklift certification a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of blueprint reading or tape measuring with fractions.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful, not required.
