Job description

Salary: $19.00-$23.00 hourly

SUMMARY: Assists the Installation Lead with equipment installation at designated locations while maintaining safety, professionalism, and company standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs assigned installation tasks under the direction of the Installation Lead, assisting with the installation of equipment at customer locations in accordance with established standards and procedures. Installs equipment in businesses in accordance with established standards and procedures; always maintains safety and professionalism.
  • Assists with loading, unloading, moving, and positioning equipment; ensures all equipment is properly secure for transportation.
  • Help prepare installation sites, including basic setup, breakdown, and cleanup before and after installations.
  • Supports testing, setup, and basic configuration of equipment as directed by the Installation Lead.
  • Maintains cleanliness, organization, and safety of the work area, installation vehicles, and job sites always.
  • Safely operates assigned company vehicle as required and assists the Installation Lead with parking and site access at customer locations.
  • Maintains control of assigned company property; confirms all tools and equipment are accounted for and returned to the installation vehicle.
  • Proactively prepares equipment, tools, and materials in advance of scheduled installations and assists with warehouse staging as needed.
  • Follows all safety guidelines and company policies, reports issues or concerns promptly to the Installation Lead, and performs other related duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, talk or hear
  • Occasionally required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
  • Occasionally utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
  • Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds/more than 50 pounds
  • Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
  • Occasionally work in high, precarious places
  • Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals
  • Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather) and extreme heat or cold (non-weather)
  • Occasionally exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials
  • Occasionally loud noise (example: jack hammer work)
  • Occasionally use of pallet jacks and furniture dolly.
