Job description

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Bloomington, Illinois, is seeking to hire Commercial Door Technicians & Commercial Door Installers for Automatic Entry Doors, Manual Entry Doors, Commercial Doors. We are hiring both Experienced Commercial Door Service Technicians/Installers and Trainees! This individual must be able to safely lift 100 lbs. overhead. A Valid Driver's License is required with a good driving record.

If you have any experience in construction, as a general laborer, service technician, installer, carpenter, mechanic, assembly worker, or any skilled trade, you may find this opportunity to be a great fit for your career!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install/Service commercial entry doors and door hardware OR Install/Service of commercial doors (sectional, rolling steel, high speed, etc...)
  • Repair, adjust, replace, and/or troubleshoot issues with entry doors and associated hardware OR commercial doors
  • Operate in a safety conscious manner at all times

Job Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Able to safely lift 100 pounds over your head
  • Commercial door experience and welding experience preferred; however, we are willing to train! 
  • Must possess valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Experience in construction, as a general laborer, service technician, installer, carpenter, mechanic, assembly worker, or any skilled trade is helpful! We are willing to train!
