The Project Manager is responsible for the overall execution and success of construction projects from award through closeout. This role manages project schedules, budgets, materials, installers, customer relationships, and project documentation to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and at a level of quality that reflects CP Build's standards. Project Managers serve as the primary point of coordination between customers, internal teams, manufacturers, and installation partners while maintaining accountability for both the financial and operational success of their projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management
  • Manage multiple projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Own and manage contract requirements including schedules, storage, site constraints, equipment needs, and payment terms.
  • Monitor project schedules and ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide timely project updates.
  • Coordinate shop drawing submittals, resubmittals, and approvals with clients and manufacturers.
  • Manage material procurement, inventory, delivery, and installation timelines.
  • Complete project closeout processes and required documentation.
Operations & Field Coordination
  • Work closely with Install Managers, installers, and site leadership teams throughout project execution.
  • Visit job sites regularly to inspect progress, quality, and site conditions.
  • Ensure field conditions are accurately documented and comply with company procedures.
  • Perform warranty inspections and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate and negotiate installation rates with subcontractors and installation partners.
Customer & Communication Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and project stakeholders.
  • Provide consistent communication and documentation to internal and external partners.
  • Manage expectations while proactively identifying and resolving project concerns.
  • Address project issues, discrepancies, and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain and strengthen customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project costs and financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project margins and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all contract requirements are fulfilled prior to project closeout.
  • Maintain accountability for the overall financial success of assigned projects.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Follow all company SOPs, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, construction coordination, or a related construction role.
  • Experience managing schedules, priorities, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 30%.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documents.
  • Experience with conflict resolution, customer service, and stakeholder management.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform site visits and work in construction environments with reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working for a specialty contractor, construction supplier, or subcontractor.
  • Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, or other construction management software.
  • Bilingual Spanish-English communication skills.
