Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to plan and coordinate project activities with business managers and subject matter experts. This role involves driving issue resolution, ensuring projects deliver on benefit realization, and managing project activities to stay on schedule. The position requires proactive engagement with stakeholders to mitigate risks and resolve cross-team concerns.
Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate with business managers and cross-functional subject matter experts to drive project activities and resolve issues.
  • Ensure project activities are on a path to deliver benefits realization.
  • Install and adhere to an appropriate risk management plan for the project.
  • Follow established PMLC methodology, risk management routines, and project governance activities.
  • Lead teams of internal and/or external resources on a project basis.
  • Manage project budget forecasts and actuals in accordance with finance and reporting routines.
  • Create, maintain, and analyze variances to project schedules, and recommend action plans to mitigate negative variances.
  • Prepare dashboard reporting to communicate project health to key executives.
  • Prepare documentation and presentations to support workstream efforts and internal reporting routines.
  • Provide hands-on support to delivery teams, including tracking deliverables, coordinating SMEs, and ensuring follow-through.
  • Assist in identifying changes introduced by the project and coordinate with appropriate teams for readiness plans.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience driving complex projects with large internal and vendor resource teams through all phases of a tech development lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and initiatives, including multiple business partners and large data sets.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder relationship building skills to engage and drive cross-team collaboration.
  • Ability to create and drive multiple project and workstream schedules in parallel.
  • Experience with technical Agile or hybrid delivery models and tools such as ServiceNow, Rally, or Clarity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar project management platforms.
  • Ability to translate conversations with process owners and stakeholders into effective plans, project objectives, and schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Background in Accounting and Finance in a project management role.
  • Experience in Regulatory Reporting and/or Risk Weighted Assets.
  • Financial institution transformative program and/or project management experience.
  • Experience with AxiomSL Reg Reporting solutions.
  • Prior experience with system and user acceptance test planning activities.
  • Experience with data strategy development and execution.
  • PMP certification.
