About the Role

PSI, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Install Plumber to join our team in Gypsum, CO. This is a hands-on, project-focused role built for plumbers who take pride in precision, quality workmanship, and seeing a project come together from start to finish.

  • Execute rough-ins, top-outs, water and gas piping, vent systems, and final trim with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.
  • Perform complex plumbing retrofits and system tie-ins within existing structures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to identify challenges and solutions.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
  • Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, PSI quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Mentor apprentices and junior plumbers through hands-on guidance and coaching.
  • Maintain clean, organized job sites while working in occupied homes and high-end remodel environments.
We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have

  • Journeyman or Master Plumbing License preferred.
  • Experience working in custom or high-end residential environments.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, system layouts, and installation practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and adapt when working within existing structures.
  • Ability to read blueprints and coordinate effectively with contractors and other trades.
  • Comfortable using tablets and digital job management tools.
  • Valid driver's license.
Pay & Bonus
  • 40-$60/hour based on experience

  • No on-call rotation
  • Consistent schedule and strong work-life balance
  • Opportunity to work on high-quality projects in the Colorado mountains

  • Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying mountain and seasonal conditions.
Why Join PSI?

  • Work alongside skilled trades professionals who value quality craftsmanship.
  • Opportunity to grow with a company serving the Vail Valley and surrounding communities.
  • Enjoy the lifestyle and outdoor opportunities that come with living in Colorado.

The compensation for this position is $40+/hour, depending on experience, qualifications, certifications, and other job-related factors. This position may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses, commissions, incentives, overtime pay, or other forms of compensation, as applicable.
