Job Title: Low Voltage Systems Tech

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, independent, and technically proficient Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and maintain any of the following systems: security, fire, access control, and cctv. Providing reliable technical support and ensuring high-quality installations in various environments. Compensation for this position is negotiable. While licenses are not required, candidates who already possess relevant licenses may be eligible for increased pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation: Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling for security, fire, access control, and cctv devices.

  • System Types: Work on Access Control, CCTV/Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, and Fire Alarm systems.

  • Hardware: Install and configure field devices like card readers, door strikes, maglocks, motion sensors, cameras, and fire alarm devices.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex system, device, and wiring issues.

  • Documentation: Accurately record work performed, materials used, and issues encountered.

  • Customer Service: Train clients on system usage and maintain strong communication with managers and team members.
