We are hiring experienced Install Technicians in Edmonton, AB!


Action Furnace is a residential HVAC company located in Alberta. Reporting to the Install Manager, the Install Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position involves ensuring a successful execution of installations, and training the Install Apprentices on their team, as well as maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities:

This position will include, but not be limited to the following:


Technical Expertise

  • Perform precise and code-compliant installations of HVAC systems.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly set up, tested and operational upon completion.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during installations.

Customer Experience & Satisfaction

  • Explain the installation process to customer and address their questions or concerns. 
  • Conduct a final walk through to demonstrate system operation and confirm customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, professional workspace in customer homes.

Quality Assurance & Process Adherence 

  • Follow established standard operating procedures (SOP's) for installations.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve installation techniques and reduce callbacks.

Resource & Time Management

  • Prepare and organize all necessary equipment and materials before arriving at the job site.
  • Monitor and report inventory needs or equipment issues.
  • Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.

Safety & Compliance

  • Actively participate in the company safety program, ensure job site safety at all times, and maintain cooperation to OH&S guidelines.
  • Conduct scheduled vehicle inspections.
  • Stay updated on local code and compliance requirements.
  • Use tools and equipment responsibly to prevent accidents or damage.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-year driver’s license with clean abstract
  • 2+ years of HVAC installation experience
  • Problem solving skills
  • Communication skills
  • Customer/member service oriented
