Job description

The Commercial Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial systems are executed efficiently and safely. Working closely with the service, installation, and maintenance teams, this position requires hands-on expertise and strong technical skills to support client needs and maintain system reliability. Reporting directly to the Field Supervisor and Technical Manager, the role involves regular travel to client sites and offers opportunities for certification training and career advancement to senior technician positions.

Responsibilities

  • Install commercial equipment according to specifications and safety standards
  • Perform routine and emergency system maintenance to ensure optimal operation
  • Troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime
  • Provide customer support and communicate effectively with clients
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations throughout all tasks
  • Conduct technical inspections and system testing
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of work performed
  • Manage inventory and ensure availability of necessary tools and parts
  • Calibrate equipment to maintain service quality

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in commercial technician services
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • EPA 608 Certification
