Job description

About LeonLite

LeonLite is a leading California-based provider of premium indoor and outdoor LED lighting solutions, trusted by thousands of contractors and professionals. With over 20 years of experience and a physical showroom/warehouse right here in Eastvale, we focus on high-quality landscape, architectural, and commercial lighting with real local support.

We're looking for a talented, hands-on Part-Time Social Media Content Creator who can produce authentic, high-performing Instagram content - including real jobsite footage of contractors installing our lighting.

The Role

This is a creative, varied part-time role that combines work at our Eastvale office/showroom with visits to active jobsites across the Inland Empire and greater Southern California. You'll create scroll-stopping Instagram content (Reels, carousels, Stories, and feed posts) that showcases real contractor installations and helps LeonLite stand out.
If you enjoy photography/videography, feel comfortable on construction sites, and want flexible part-time work with real creative impact, this is a great opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality photos and short-form videos (especially Instagram Reels) featuring contractors installing LeonLite indoor and outdoor lighting on active jobsites
  • Capture authentic, professional content including installation processes, before/after transformations, product-in-action, and contractor-focused moments
  • Produce polished office-based content (product features, brand storytelling, and studio-style shots)
  • Edit photos and videos using professional tools, optimized for Instagram engagement
  • Write compelling, benefit-driven captions and copy that resonate with contractors and pros
  • Assist with scheduling posts and basic performance tracking
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on content needs and campaigns
  • Maintain brand voice and visual consistency

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Social Media Content Creator, Content Producer, or similar role (strong portfolio required)
  • Strong photography + videography skills with excellent composition and storytelling ability
  • Proficient in video editing for short-form content (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
  • Comfortable and professional working independently on active construction/jobsites (safety-conscious and respectful of crews)
  • Valid driver's license + reliable transportation (you'll drive to local jobsites)
  • Excellent written communication skills for captions
  • Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage your own time
  • Flexible part-time availability - must be able to work some weekday daytime hours for jobsite visits (contractors typically work Mon–Fri during the day)
  • Bonus: Experience in lighting, construction, home improvement, or contractor marketing; basic graphic design skills

What We Offer

  • Flexible part-time schedule (roughly 15–25 hours per week, depending on content needs)
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience
  • Creative variety - mix of office work and exciting on-location jobsite shoots
  • Direct impact on a growing professional lighting brand with a strong contractor following
  • Opportunity to grow with the company (potential to expand hours or move to full-time in the future)
  • Collaborative team environment in our Eastvale headquarters

How to Apply

Please send your resume, a link to your portfolio or relevant Instagram/work samples, and a short note explaining why you're a great fit for this part-time role at LeonLite.

We review applications on a rolling basis and look forward to seeing your work!
