Job description

Part-Time Warehouse Assistant
Location: Warwick, RI (Based out of the Inspired Closets Warwick Warehouse)
Pay Range: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-time (20-30 hours/week, depending on business needs)
Schedule: Wednesday through Friday (Schedule flexibility required)

Our warehouse team is the backbone of our logistics, ensuring that goods coming in are accounted for, and our installation teams have exactly what they need to succeed on time. We believe in keeping our operations streamlined, safe, and well-coordinated.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Pay: $19.00 - $23.00/hr based on experience.
  • Consistent Part-Time Hours: Steady 20-30 hours weekly at our central Warwick hub.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating closely with our Warehouse Lead, Production Manager, and Installation teams, you will play a key role in keeping the shop running smoothly.
  • Inventory & Logistics: Receive, document, and track incoming and outgoing merchandise and materials.
  • Quality Control: Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
  • Shop Stewardship: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain a safe, highly efficient workspace.
  • Team Support: Assist the Warehouse Lead with sorting job materials, ordering, and general warehouse organization.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery (including a forklift, if certified).

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):
  • Physical Capability: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, kneel, and safely lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Tech & Math Savvy: Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new inventory technology quickly, paired with sharp math skills.
  • Communication & Focus: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to pivot between tasks quickly.
  • Experience (Preferred but not required): Previous experience in warehouse operations, construction, design, or architectural fields is a major plus.
  • Certifications (A Plus): Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (required), Forklift certification, OSHA 10, or a DOT health card are highly preferred.
