Royal Caribbean Group's Marketing Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead, Social Media Creative reporting to the Sr Manager Social Media Partnerships & Activations.

This position will be working onsite from Miami.

Position Summary:

The Social Creative Lead is a culturally fluent, social-first creative leader who lives natively on the internet and understands how brands earn attention in real time. With a strong command of short- and long-form video across priority channels including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, this role is responsible for elevating our in-house social creative-from concept through execution-by bringing sharp creative instincts, deep platform knowledge, and a clear point of view on what great social creative looks like today (and tomorrow).

This person leads and inspires a team of creatives across the full creative lifecycle, setting a unifying creative vision while managing workflows, timelines, and priorities. They champion big ideas, develop talent, and translate cultural moments, audience insights, and platform trends into timely, native, and unmistakably on-brand creative-ensuring ideas are thoughtfully adapted to perform across platforms without losing impact.

The ideal candidate is chronically online, highly organized, creatively restless, and deeply curious, energized by leading teams in fast-moving environments and driven to turn social insight into standout creative that helps define the brand's voice in culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Set and elevate the creative bar for all in-house social content, ensuring work is platform-native, culturally relevant, and creatively ambitious.

Champion a social-first creative approach, shaping how ideas are conceived, developed, and executed specifically for social platforms.

Bring real-time trends, cultural signals, and audience insights into creative thinking and decision-making.

Inspire fresh thinking and experimentation while maintaining a consistent, recognizable brand voice.

Lead work through the full creative cycle-from ideation and concepting through execution, and launch.

Apply strong project management skills to plan workflows, manage timelines, prioritize resources, and keep projects moving efficiently.

Balance speed and quality, ensuring the team can respond to cultural moments while delivering polished, thoughtful creative.

Partner closely with strategy, production, and cross-functional teams to align on goals and deliverables.

Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of social creatives, fostering an environment of trust, collaboration, and creative growth.

Provide clear direction, feedback, and encouragement to help team members strengthen their craft and confidence.

Create space for creative inspiration by keeping the team informed on trends, emerging formats, and best-in-class social work.

Encourage curiosity, experimentation, and constructive critique to continuously evolve the team's output.

Evaluate performance data and insights to identify opportunities to improve creative effectiveness.

Stay ahead of platform updates, emerging formats, and competitive activity to keep our creative approach relevant and forward-thinking.

Oversee, manage, and optimize production budgets for in-house social creative, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently while maintaining high creative standards.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

2+ years of experience managing and mentoring creative teams, including leading projects that deliver high-quality work on time and against performance objectives.

3-4 years of experience in social media, creative, or content-focused roles.

Demonstrated experience developing and executing social-first creative for major platforms with measurable impact (e.g., driving engagement, reach, shares, completion rates, or audience growth).

Proven ability to translate cultural moments, trends, or insights into creative executions that outperform benchmarks or contribute to brand or business goals.

Experience managing and mentoring creative teams, including leading projects that deliver high-quality work on time and against performance objectives.

Strong creative leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams toward high-quality, social-first creative output

Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to lead work from concept through execution

Deep understanding of social platforms, formats, and audience behavior

Chronically online with sharp instincts for trends, culture, and emerging creative opportunities

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong grasp of tone, voice, and storytelling

Proven ability to craft clear, compelling, and inspiring creative briefs and PowerPoint decks, using storytelling to translate strategy, insights, and cultural context into powerful creative direction

Highly skilled at presenting and selling ideas through narrative, confidently bringing creative concepts to life for leadership and cross-functional partners in a way that builds alignment and excitement

Ability to distill complex ideas into simple, persuasive stories that guide decision-making and unlock creative potential

Comfortable leading creative conversations-presenting work, facilitating feedback, and collaborating cross-functionally to refine and strengthen ideas

Knowledge of social content creation and editing tools (e.g., native platform tools, mobile editing apps, short-form video software), with the ability to guide creative quality, provide directional feedback, and assess executional excellence-even if not hands-on day-to-day

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), with a strong eye for layout, visual hierarchy, and creative storytelling within decks

Familiarity with social performance, listening, or insights tools is a plus.
