Key Responsibilities

The Lead Inspector is responsible for recording all functions on applicable paperwork in accordance with the specific requirements. Responsible for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of Aircraft Components. Have the skills and knowledge to set-up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results. Be familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method. Possess basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology. The ability to lead others effectively with integrity.ย 

Key Deliverables of the Roleย 

1) Accurate and Compliant Documentation - Maintain complete and accurate inspection records, logs, and reports.

2) Accurate and Timely Part Inspections - Conduct thorough and reliable NDT inspections on aircraft components, ensuring integrity and compliance with safety standards.

3) Non- Conformance Management - Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming parts.ย 

4) Tooling and Equipment Accuracy - Ensure inspection tools are calibrated and used properly.ย 

5) Regulatory & Safety Adherence - Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Report any safety hazards or violations.ย 

6) Continuous Improvement Contribution & Flexibility - Suggest process improvements to enhance quality or efficiency.ย 

7) Collaboration & Communication - Provide clear, timely updates on inspection status and issues.ย 

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Technical Competencies

1) Mechanical Aptitude - Demonstrated examples (on the job or outside of work) showing competency to work with hands.ย
