This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector , Quality Control Inspector , QC Inspector , Quality Assurance Inspector or Manufacturing Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing company committed to quality, compliance and continuous improvement. Working within a regulated manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring products, processes and people consistently meet the highest quality standards. You'll help prevent non-conforming products from progressing through production while supporting compliance with quality systems, customer specifications and Health & Safety requirements. Key Duties Carry out in-process quality inspections and production audits across manufacturing operations. Verify that operators complete quality checks, documentation and product traceability records accurately. Ensure inspection equipment, gauges, fixtures and measuring tools are correctly maintained and calibrated. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet visual, dimensional and functional quality standards. Monitor packaging, labelling and traceability processes to ensure customer specifications are achieved. Identify, record and report non-conformances, supporting containment activities where required. Promote and monitor safe working practices across the manufacturing facility. Support root cause investigations, corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in continuous improvement projects, internal audits and standardisation activities. Provide support during customer containment and product sorting activities when required. Requirements Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Control Inspector, QC Inspector, Quality Assurance Inspector or in a similar quality role. Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment such as Automotive, Aerospace, Food Manufacturing, Food & Beverage or similar. Experience using quality inspection equipment and precision measuring instruments. Good understanding of quality documentation, product traceability and non-conformance processes. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 quality management systems. Experience with SPC, Control Plans, PFMEA, APQP or continuous improvement methodologies. Engineering or Manufacturing qualification (NVQ, BTEC or equivalent).
