Title: Inspection Manager
Reports To: National Service Manager

Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000

Job Purpose

The Inspection Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Ace’s inspection program to ensure report quality, timely repair quotations, regulatory compliance, and the retention and growth of units enrolled in the inspection program. This role manages the inspection team to oversee all inspections meet applicable OSHA, ANSI, ASME, and CMAA standards. The Inspection Manager and their team support Ace’s Branches, Outside Sales, and Service Technicians by upholding inspection standards across field inspections and internal review processes and by delivering timely, detailed repair quotations for identified deficiencies. The role also drives continuous improvement in inspection procedures, communication, and reporting to support customer satisfaction and retention.”

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Manage and oversee the inspection review process to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with OSHA, ANSI, ASME, and CMAA standards.
  • Supervise and support Inspection Reviewers/Analysts and Quoters, including training, guidance, and performance oversight.
  • Review inspection reports for regulatory accuracy, grammar, clarity, and completeness prior to release.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards for inspection documentation and reporting.
  • Communicate with technicians, branches, and service personnel to clarify inspection findings and correct discrepancies.
  • Ensure inspection reports are completed and delivered to Ace’s Branches and Sales teams in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate inspections for repair accuracy and ensure recommended repairs align with applicable regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain internal processes, procedures, and documentation standards for inspections, repair quotes and customer enrollment in inspection program.
  • Monitor workload and prioritize inspections to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Serve as a technical resource to technicians, sales teams, and service teams regarding inspection standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Research regulatory standards and ensure the team stays current with updates to OSHA, ANSI, ASME, and CMAA regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and reporting processes.
  • Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, and organization in all aspects of the inspection review process.
  • Build and maintain internal and external customer confidence through responsiveness, accuracy, and effective communication.

Education and Experience

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in equipment inspection review, industrial service, or related technical field preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
