Overview: Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Manager, Consumer Insights will analyze customer data to understand consumer insights, shopping behaviors and trends to drive sales and customer loyalty to SNIPES. This position will play a critical part in driving customer centricity and ensuring the success of our businesses. Through deep partnership with the business, we aim to develop a customer-focused strategic direction for our company. Insights are used across all facets of the business such as product development, marketing, customer service and more.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the company's consumer research agenda across multiple departments including marketing, stores, digital, etc.
  • Ability to conduct data mining and analysis using customer surveys and competitive intelligence platforms; must understand standard research methodologies and are a trusted thought partner by our stakeholders
  • Manage consumer research projects from initial design and presenting final research with clear actionable steps; must be comfortable with ambiguous questions and creating a business-oriented research plan to answer them
  • Effectively manage and utilize relationships with external partners to achieve insight goals
  • Comfortable with presentations in front of senior leadership to review research results
  • Proactively present actionable insights to drive consumer growth
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to align consumer insights roadmap, and actionable recommendations resulting from insights projects
  • Comfortable with implementing new processes and procedures in a growing department

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in consumer insights in retail
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SurveyMonkey/DIY survey and Consumer Insight tools required
  • Project Management software preferably Monday.com
  • Experience in presenting insights findings across a variety of audiences, including executive-level leaders
