Job description

The AWS Data Center Security team is looking for a creative, innovative, results-oriented program manager in Georgia/Atlanta area to lead security and security-systems projects and programs in the data center environment. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to a collaborative and productive environment with a strong service-oriented culture among multiple diverse and highly skilled teams of project and program managers. These teams are responsible for the design, installation, and evolution of physical security systems and programs to include intrusion detection, access control/management, CCTV, screening, emergency response, etc.
A successful candidate will have the ability to manage difficult and interdependent projects with a regional impact. You will be responsible for enabling the interpretation of Threat Assessments and AWS Physical Security Standards to assure the proper security mitigations are selected and implemented to meet the unique challenges in each area. You will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to assure each data center meets the high standards AWS sets for physical security. You must also ensure local security teams have the technical knowledge and resources necessary to meet the ongoing physical security mission.
Key job responsibilities
• Project Management for physical security systems related to new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Preparation of physical security project lifecycle management including bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close-out documentation.
• Contemporary knowledge of emerging physical security technologies to assess their applicability within the AWS physical security program.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for leadership to make strategic decisions regarding technology and procedure.
• Balance performance metrics such as physical security system installation vendor service delivery performance, actual spend vs. budget variance, cost reduction goal attainment, post installation defect rates, physical security program analysis, etc.
• Manage vendors for the on-boarding, RFQ, bid, contract, QA/QC, and support processes.
• Effectively and accurately manage multi-million dollar budgets for infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate across teams and provide support for global initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working on physical security design and implementation of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to communicate/brief effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals regarding physical security standards and system designs.
- Experience in the delivery of physical security projects or programs within an enterprise setting.
- Background in any of the following: Physical Security Design, Security Systems Deployment, Physical Security Operations, Security Architecture, Construction Management
- Proficient in AutoCAD and/or physical security designs.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
- PSP, CPP, PMP Certification; Training in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), Certification or experience with Lenel Access Control System.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
