Palmetto Exterminators is a highly visible, well-established Pest Control Service Provider in the Southeast. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and motivating the inside sales team to achieve revenue growth, customer acquisition, and cross selling. This role oversees day-to-day sales operations, monitors performance metrics, coaches representatives to improve closing ratios, and ensures every customer interaction reflects the company's commitment to exceptional service.


The ideal candidate is an energetic leader with a passion for sales, coaching, accountability, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. This is a new role which will require an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop an inside sales team to consistently exceed sales goals.
  • Monitor, document, and report on daily sales activity, conversion rates, closing percentages, and productivity.
  • Provide ongoing training in sales techniques, objection handling, and product knowledge.
  • Foster a positive, competitive, and customer-focused sales culture.
  • Forecasting future revenue targets and headcount needs.

Revenue Growth

  • Drive new customer acquisition through inbound and outbound sales efforts.
  • Increase average ticket values through upselling and cross-selling additional services.
  • Develop strategies to improve close rates and overall sales performance.
  • Partner with marketing to maximize lead generation and campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop strategies to enhance Google LSA conversions.

Performance Management

  • Establish KPIs and hold team members accountable for results.
  • Analyze sales reports and identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps.
  • Implement action plans to improve individual and team performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and assist with hiring, onboarding, and development.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure customers receive prompt, professional, and knowledgeable service.
  • Assist with resolving escalated customer concerns.
  • Promote a consultative sales approach focused on solving customer problems.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction while achieving sales objectives.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain CRM (PestPac) accuracy and ensure proper documentation of customer interactions.
  • Develop and improve sales processes, scripts, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and Field Teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Examine Reports in PowerBI to understand trends, blind spots and knowledge gaps

Qualifications

Required

  • 3–5 years of sales leadership experience in an inside sales/call center environment.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Experience managing remotely as well as multisite visibility
  • Proficiency with CRMs
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug test

Preferred

  • Pest control, home services, HVAC, landscaping, or service industry experience.
  • Experience with ServiceTitan, PestPac, FieldRoutes, or similar platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required).

Working Conditions

  • Office-based position.
  • Standard Monday–Friday schedule with occasional evenings or weekends during peak seasons.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, computer work, and telephone communication.
