Inova Children’s and Inova Schar Cancer Institute are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Neuro‑Oncologist to join our Inova Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Team. This full‑time position is eligible for a sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance.

Your Role Includes
  • Deliver coordinated, multispecialty care to patients with brain tumors and other neurologic oncologic conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary pediatric oncology care with a team that includes pediatric neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neuro‑radiology, clinical research, genetic counseling, pediatric palliative care, nutrition, and psychosocial support.
  • Participate in the inpatient care team.
  • Provide clinical teaching and in‑service education to medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Engage in pediatric oncology clinical research projects and studies, including translational efforts.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Pediatric Hematology‑Oncology.
  • Successful completion of a pediatric residency program and Pediatric Hematology‑Oncology fellowship.
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon start.
  • Payer credentialing: Ability to complete credentialing process by third‑party payors and enrolment as CMS Medicare/Medicaid payer.
  • Medical staff credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for medical staff membership and clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services.
