Job description

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders
Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
  • Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
  • One year experience as an RRT
  • BLS certification
  • RRT certification
  • NRP certification
  • Pediatric Respiratory Therapy experience
  • Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilation
  • Experience with Servo ventilators
  • Experience with inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
  • Experience with airway clearance techniques
  • Experience with aerosol delivery
  • Experience with high flow devices

Assignment Details
  • Shift Hours: 1900-0700
  • 36 hours per week
  • Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
  • On call not required
  • Floating required to NICU, PICU, general care pediatric floors, and pediatric ER in rotation
  • Charting system: EPIC
  • Additional equipment includes Pyxis and Alaris
  • Scrub color: Gray
