About the Role:

Job Title: Mechanic

Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment, machinery, and vehicles. Performs preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to help ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Brake repair inspection certification required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of mechanic, maintenance, or related experience.
  • Oilfield or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work an on-call schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
  • Replace and service parts such as brakes, hoses, fluids, filters, and belts.
  • Install and maintain equipment as needed.
  • Complete maintenance records and required documentation.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work outdoors and lift, carry, push, or pull equipment and materials as needed.
