Job description

About the Employer
The Aromas-San Juan Unified School District (ASJUSD) is located in northern San Benito County, serving the communities of San Juan Bautista and Aromas. We are just 30 minutes north of Monterey, south of Santa Cruz, and within reach of the greater San Jose area-offering a unique blend of small-community connection and regional opportunity.
ASJUSD is the only unified TK-12 school district in San Benito County, providing a coherent, innovative learning experience across academic and enrichment programs. Our TK-8 schools are multi-age learning communities that honor child development, foster collaboration, and support strong academic and social outcomes for students.
As a small and agile district, we are inclusive, responsive, and deeply committed to continuous improvement. Students are active partners in their learning, developing voice, agency, and the skills needed to think critically, communicate effectively, and solve real-world problems.
We work in close partnership with families and the community to celebrate our diverse cultures and languages. Through multilingual learning, service learning, and experiential education, students build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while learning to contribute meaningfully to their world.
We invite innovative educators to join us as we strive for excellence, transparency, and measurable student success on our journey toward becoming a District of Distinction.
