Job description

The Warehouse Technician performs warehouse activities including pulling (picking) orders, loading/unloading trucks, operating inventory tracking systems (DSI & E-1), and inventory counting.
Key Responsiblities
  • Always follow all SOPs and GMPs
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area
  • Completely read and understand all instructions listed on all paperwork
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment necessary in the movement of materials
  • Receive materials and/or equipment, ensuring that shipment to be received, matches P.O., Bill of Lading, and packing slip. Enter shipment information into system using handheld scanner or computer. Complete paperwork and deliver to appropriate person(s)/department 
  • Pick material for shipment or processing by following Pick Sheet or Material Requisition, ensuring all instructions/notes are followed and all transactions are recorded via handheld scanner or computer
  • Re-pack materials according to instructions on Pick Sheet and/or Order
  • Return all unused materials to appropriate location and record transaction via handheld scanner or computer
  • Perform inventory counts
  • Follows all environmental, health and safety protocols
  • Provides support for all safety and environmental initiatives
  • Proactively attempts to prevent all accidents and eliminate all unsafe conditions
  • Demonstrates management's commitment to safety
Required Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years prior warehouse and inventory experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Forklift/Material handling certification
  • Knowledge of E-1 and DSI
  • Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices including the proper wearing of clean protective clothing, following personal hygiene standards, and adherence to food/drink/tobacco restrictions

  • Work is performing in the plant field and may require the use of protective clothing & personal devices: Safety shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, earplugs, mask, goggles, insulated gloves, safety vest, harness, hair net, slicker suit, self-contained breathing apparatus: 66-100%
  • Frequent lifting (Up to 50 lbs.), squatting, climbing, standing, bending, walking, and operating mobile equipment
  • Seldom work in temperature change (Ranges from 70 to ambient)
  • Rarely operating heavy equipment and office work

  • Day shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday
$18.90 - $23.61 an hour
