• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and develop a comprehensive understanding of their individual needs and challenges.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that align with each client’s goals, using evidence-based therapeutic modalities to promote growth and healing.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions with adult clients, employing solution-focused strategies to address their specific concerns and encourage positive behavioral changes.
• Provide teletherapy services as needed, ensuring uninterrupted access to care for clients who may benefit from virtual sessions, particularly in a post-pandemic world.
• Deliver crisis intervention services with expertise and empathy, addressing urgent mental health issues while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
• Engage consistently in professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay current on best practices and enhance clinical skills.

As a counselor, you will work primarily with adult clients who present a wide array of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. We value the diverse experiences of our clients and seek therapists who can connect with individuals from various backgrounds, harnessing a non-judgmental and empathetic methodology to foster meaningful relationships.

• A valid and current license in New York as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related disciplines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues within a teamwork-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated compassion and a respectful approach towards supporting clients through their mental health journeys.
• Proven organizational and time-management abilities to efficiently handle a varied caseload and necessary paperwork.
• An unblemished record with the licensing board.

• Previous clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably working with diverse client populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth systems and best practices for virtual therapy.
• Experience in crisis intervention and management.

• A competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
