Job description

Triage Registered Nurse - Full Time

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work in our Community Health Center in Southeastern Utah. Our clinic is a dynamic place to work, practice, and grow. We have 4 primary care health centers and deliver integrated services including behavioral health, Pharmacy, Dental, specialty referrals, chronic disease management, health education, and much, much more.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications needed to perform the job:

  • Certificate from an accredited college or university
  • Registered Nurse certification within the State of Utah or compact licensure
  • Must be able to safely lift, push, and pull fifty (50) pounds or more above the waist
  • 2-3 years of OB experience (preferred)

Requirements:

  • Document patient assessment in the patient's health record before the patient's scheduled appointment or walk-in time slot with the provider.
  • Document with red ink on the patient super-bill to identify changes or abnormal vital signs if the provider or patient's nurse is unavailable.
  • Document patient orders with verbal order read back (VORB) to the provider or standing orders (SO) within a 24-hour time frame of the patient's visit.
  • Document nursing interventions, evaluations, and notification to patient-provider to patient's health record within a 24-hour time frame of the patient's visit.
  • Document patient/family and healthcare team communication regarding appointments, labs, referrals, and medical records, including faxed/requested items, in the patient's health record within a 24-hour time frame of patient/family healthcare team communication.
  • Maintain a record of certifications and training obtained within a calendar year
  • Document assigned room cleaning and expired supply removal and return documents to your supervisor monthly
  • Schedule and hold monthly or quarterly rounding meetings with your direct supervisor
