Job description

To strengthen our Springfield team, we are looking for an
INK OPERATOR
ROLE
Produce ink efficiently and safely in Springfield, VA
PROFILE
  • Manufacture ink according to existing procedures
  • Produce to set daily goals
  • Use all safety equipment as instructed by the SOPs, and Regulatory Affairs
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Tub room duties as required
  • Assoc. degree in a technical discipline preferred; or High School graduate with 2-4 years' work experience.
  • A strong willingness to learn and adapt, ensuring continuous improvement and effective problem-solving
  • Ability to follow written procedures and instructions
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to Detail: Follows detailed procedures and ensures accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitors gages, and instruments of process; ensures concentration on routine work details.
  • Quality of Work: Maintains high standards despite pressing deadlines; does work right the first time; corrects own errors, regularly produces accurate, thorough, professional work.
  • Reliability: Personally responsible; keeps commitments.
  • Write and perform math at a high school level
  • Lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to roll tub weighing up to 2,000 pounds
  • Ability to wear and use safety equipment

Hourly rate: $22.00 per hour + depending on shift you are working a shift differential (if applicable)
