TheChristianaCare Newark CampusRadiologyDepartment is currently recruiting for a Full Time (80 hr) Radiologic Technologist, rotating evening/midnight shifts. This position will work every 6th weekend and every third holiday.

Shift:

  • 8a- 6:30p four days a week and 1 rotating comp day.

  • Weekend Call (Every 6thWeekend) and (1-2 holidays per year as a 24hrs call shift)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Content level expert of radiographic equipment, knowledge, and proficiency in troubleshooting.
  • Content level expert of radiology supported computer and software systems.
  • Supports and assistance in clinical training of staff and students.
  • Assists and demonstrates complex knowledge and proficiency in the use of procedural radiographic specific
  • equipment to include:
  • Various onsite C-Arms
  • Neuro, Trauma, Ortho, General, Urology, and Vascular Procedures
  • Portable X-Ray Machines
  • Intra-op, PACU, and HVIS use
  • Vascular Hybrid Room
  • Room operation and trouble shooting.
  • Operation of the contrast power injector.
  • Knowledge of different contrast mediums.
  • Procedural competence in performing: Endografts, Angiography, Cardiac, and Trauma Applications.
  • Spine and Pelvic Stealth Navigation Console
  • The setup and integration with the O-Arm.
  • Recognition of all navigation instrumentation and their function.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years' experience as a staff technologist.
  • Completion of two-year program in Radiology Technology is required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • ARRT registered
  • Delaware State License
This position pays a base pay between $35.39 and $48.66.This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
