Location: [Dallas, TX]
Pay: $27–$34 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:45 p.m.–11:05 p.m.; occasional Saturdays

Babich & Associates is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a confidential plastic injection molding operation.

This is a hands-on plant-maintenance role involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has three to five years of direct maintenance experience in an injection molding environment and can diagnose equipment problems from prints, control diagrams, and test readings.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment problems
  • Diagnose and repair injection molding machinery and auxiliary equipment
  • Read electrical schematics, hydraulic prints, and ladder logic
  • Identify PLC inputs and outputs using control diagrams
  • Test circuits using voltage testers, voltmeters, and amp probes
  • Work safely with 240V and 480V electrical systems
  • Repair hydraulic, air, and water leaks
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
  • Maintain filters, lubrication points, hydraulic reservoirs, and safety devices
  • Complete emergency repairs and document work orders
  • Follow lockout/tagout procedures
  • Support production, engineering, and quality personnel

  • Toshiba injection molding machines are a plus

Qualifications

  • Three to five years of injection molding maintenance experience
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic prints
  • Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 75 pounds
  • Willingness to work second shift and occasional Saturdays
  • Technical-school or associate-degree training is helpful but not required with equivalent experience
