Injection Molding Maintenance Technician - PSC42825
Pay: $28 - 36/hr + O.T
Industry: Plastic Injection molding
Schedule: Full-time / Monday - Friday // 1st & 2nd shift available
We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians with experience in Plastic Injection Molding to join this injection molding company in Ohio. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all molding machinery and equipment are in good working condition to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on molding machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and repair any issues with Molding machinery and equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
  • Maintenance and repair of molding machines and equipment as well as electrical, hydraulic, solid state computer controls, PLC programing , repairs to injection molding machine, auxiliary machines and building maintenance.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in injection molding plus 3 years in a plastic molding environment
  • Experience working with 85-to-2200-ton machines. Working knowledge of Van Dorn, Cincinnati, and Haitian
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
