Job description

INJECTION MOLDING TECHNICIAN

We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician with a strong background in plastic injection molds, machining, mold repair, and modification. This is an excellent opportunity with an established company offering excellent benefits, long-term stability, and an opportunity for a career through retirement.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

☐      Hands-on experience with plastic injection molding machines

☐      Experience repairing, adjusting, modifying, and designing injection molds

☐      Strong background in injection mold making and maintenance

☐      Ability to troubleshoot and repair plastic injection molds

☐      General machine shop experience, including milling and related machining equipment

☐      CNC machining experience strongly preferred

☐      Manual machining experience desired

☐      Ability to read and understand blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications

☐      Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

☐      Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards

☐      Tool & Diemaker welcomed

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a strong general machining background, including milling and CNC machining, combined with hands-on experience working with plastic injection molds.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience designing, repairing, modifying, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection molds and who can bring a strong machine-shop skill set to the position.
