Injection Molding Process Tech
Responsibilities :
โ€ข Perform machine start-up, shut down, color changes, and necessary processing changes to ensure that the machines are at the proper efficiency and the product is in conformance.
โ€ข Ability to work with Robotic controls and programs.
โ€ข Perform other production functions such as machine operation, press assignments, operator relief, training of new and current employees in basic machine operations.
โ€ข Pull and set molds in preparation for production runs.
โ€ข Monitor and repair all auxiliary equipment and notify maintenance department of any issues with any machine or equipment.
โ€ข Verify that the machine capitation, cycle, and set-up parameters are correct.
โ€ข Communicate with the Quality department to prevent any nonconforming product.
โ€ข Maintain machine cleanliness, and perform small mold, machine, and equipment repairs.
โ€ข Make process changes or recommendations to correct any defects found during production run.
โ€ข Assist the Supervisor on an as needed basis
โ€ข Properly label scrap gaylords and ensure content integrity
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
โ€ข Three years or more experience with injection molding including Processing
โ€ข Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English
โ€ข Proven process aptitude through job experience
โ€ข Functional knowledge of injection molds, injection molding machine, injection molding processes, mold set ups, and statistical process control
โ€ข Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting
โ€ข Possess basic hand tools and the knowledge to use them.
โ€ข Capable of maintaining and attendance record within Company guidelines and working overtime as needed
