Imagine a day where no two hours look the same. As a Mechanical Technician II, you are the handson expert at keeping critical pipeline systems operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. From the hum of pumps and motors to the precision of valves and measurement equipment, your work directly protects throughput, safety, and service continuity. You balance proactive maintenance with fast, confident response to emerging issues, often independently, always safely while collaborating with skilled technicians and operations partners across the region. This is a role for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, follows procedure without compromise, and thrives in environments where mechanical knowledge truly matters.

What you will do:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pipeline mechanical and terminal equipment including pumps, valves, motors, seals, mixers, loading arms and measurement systems to minimize downtime and throughput losses.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and respond to emergencies as a first responder, executing lock-outs and open-system job plans safely and effectively.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with DOT regulations, company O&M procedures, and strict safety standards at every job, every time.
Complete installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic systems and components, ensuring optimal system performance, minimizing downtime, and adhering to safety and quality standards
Use the maintenance management system (EMAIT) to document work, maintain station records, and support accurate drawings and asbuilt updates.
Collaborate closely with Mechanical and Electrical Technicians, Technical Supervisors, Control Center operators, and project teams to plan and execute maintenance and construction activities.
Support training, mentorship, station upkeep, and outreach efforts, including coaching peers, assisting with commissioning, and engaging local first responders.
