IU Health Home Care provides patients with comprehensive care delivered by a highly trained interdisciplinary team. The Specialty Infusion Home Care RN will infuse medications in patient's homes across Central Indiana. The traditional, complementary, alternative, and holistic services that our Home Care professionals offer add to our patient's overall quality of life.

Our nurses experience a team approach to serving patients as well as the flexibility and autonomy to do their jobs and provide patients with individualized care. We provide one on one patient centered care and education as well as critical thinking and clinical skills. Examples of the care you will provide include central line care, PIV placement, and infusion of specialty medications such as IVIG, enzymes, and monoclonal medications. The skill set and case management experience that this position offers provides endless self-satisfaction and reward to home care nurses.

We are looking for an experienced pediatric RN who has a curiosity about cross training to IV home therapy serving pediatric patients receiving enzymes, biologics, antibiotics and TPN in the home. No nights or weekends required outside of scheduled call. Flexible, autonomous scheduling is available!

Qualifications: 

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. 

  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. 

  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. 

  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. 

  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
