Job description

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Manage and support enterprise core network infrastructure across data center environments.
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ISR/ASR platforms in multi-vendor environments.
  • Administer and troubleshoot SD-WAN solutions, preferably VMware VeloCloud.

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of hands-on network engineering experience, with demonstrated experience supporting enterprise core infrastructure environments.
  • Strong expertise in Cisco enterprise networking, including routing, switching, and data center networking.
  • Experience with enterprise SD-WAN technologies such as VMware VeloCloud, Cisco Viptela, Meraki, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with F5 load balancing technologies and application delivery services.
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and broader network security operations, including segmentation, VPN, and secure remote access.
  • Experience supporting Azure networking services, including ExpressRoute and hybrid cloud connectivity.
  • Experience with network automation and infrastructure as code using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability tools such as SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, Dynatrace, Wireshark, NetFlow, and syslog analysis.
  • Experience working in regulated enterprise environments such as healthcare, financial services, or similarly controlled industries.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills, including the ability to provide executive-ready updates and mentor junior team members.
  • Experience working in 24x7 production support / enterprise infrastructure support environments.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

  • Certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, CCIE, F5 CTS/301, Azure AZ-700, Palo Alto, or VeloCloud certifications.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $105,000 to $115,000. 

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
